The shipping took way to long, the product itself wasn't that great ether. Returned it, but didn't get refunded until 2 months later. Review: Worth the money

I bought this device for calf problems (achilles, compartment issues). I had a whole slew of injuries stemming from achillies tendonitis that would not heal. I was going to a physical therapist(PT) for ultrasound therapy at my ortho's direction. I decided to buy a unit instead of continue to deal with the hassle of going to a PT. The convenience of this device, and the results, as I used it 3-4x per week versus 1-2x at the physical therapists, plus strengthening exercises (which alone did not do it), were impressive. The injury healed in a ~month(while continuing to run a bit). I now do strengthening exercises only and run to my hearts content with no issues.
I also experimented with this device on other minor muscle/tendon/ligament injuries and it really does make a difference in heal time. As you age, it takes longer... this device helps fight Father Time. The logic behind the claims and the reason the doc had me trying ultrasound makes sense. I feel that it does make a difference.
I also experimented on my face (different setting). I think it does make a difference if the issue is puffiness, fine wrinkles, uneven skin tone, you know --the early aging signs. The benefit is subtle, nothing dramatic but it is noticeable.
I would recommend this to fellow athletes, 100%. It will help heal injuries faster than without it, especially in mature (35-40+) athletes.
I would also recommend this for anyone that wants to try or is doing "lunchtime" laser facials(been there, done that). This is much gentler. You will get similar results for less money and more convenience with a more comfortable therapy.
Overall, I consider this unit worth the money. It was a good investment.

this company was very bad at the handling and shipping of my product.
i was very mad to find out that they had shipped to a totally different city. i who suffer from a torn illopsoa muscle in my hip region am in pain and going out of my mind. i was relying on this product to help in my recovery time. now it is only adding to it.
