Product reviews of 30% Glycolic Acid Chemical Peel for Home use: Treats Acne, Scars, Sun Damage & Lines Review: Loving this so far! Beauty product: 4 Stars
I just used this for the first time a couple of days ago. Already, my skin feels softer and smoother and has a brightness to it that I haven't seen in awhile. I'm almost 43, but have never tried peels before so thought I'd start with 30%. The instructions were very clear and simple, the warning about the sting was very appreciated :), and it was easy breezy. Afterward, I had very mild redness that was gone by the next morning. I'm looking forward to seeing the overall results! So far, very pleased.
Review: Not for me Beauty product: 3 Stars
I followed all the intructions and nothing. Did again two weeks later and nothing. Two weeks later, I left on the product for ten minutes and I finally saw a reaction. I began to peel in two spots and that's it. The area between my eyebrows has heavy vertical wrinkles and that's one of the spots that peeled. It does look smoother. The other area that peeled was on my left cheek. It looks the same. My skin is combination skin. I'm willing to try the stronger formulation.
If you're going to use the product as soon it gets to you, make sure to have cotton balls or pads, rubbing alcohol, and baking soda. Hope this helps.
Review: Yowza! Beauty product: 4 Stars
This stuff is pretty rad. I use it every couple of months and like the results a lot. The time it's on is really uncomfortable, but tolerable. The few days after, my skin is a little pink but doesn't look too peely or embarrassing. Then for the next month or two, my skin looks way healthier and happier than usual. I'm 30 and have acne (LAME) and this helps, though it's not miraculous or anything.
Review: good start so far Beauty product: 4 Stars
I just tried the peel yesterday afternoon. I noticed my face got a little red, kinda like a mild sunborn. This morning when I woke up i noticed some flakes developing over patches of acne scars.(the whole reason I'm doing this)Hopefully this peel helps lighten them them in color. As for the stinging, I kinda enjoyed it. It's not like the pain is so unbearable your constantly watching the clock untill your able to rinse. Instructions were very clear and helpfull. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE BAKING SODA AND NOT BAKING POWDER. Looking forward to being able to repeat the process in two weeks.
