You advertise the product as a designer's cologne. I've known this product from the generation before me and woman used it as much as men. You do this product an injustice when you label it as mens designers cologne. 4711 received its name from its place of origin, 4711 Glocken Gasse Cologne Germany.It was originally created from 11 herbs. It freshens the skin and creates a sense of well being.This product is not locally available and I am delighted to have found it on the internet.As the product 4711 cologne I praise it highly but I don't see it as a mens designers cologne. 4711 cologne is one quarter the price of other leading colognes and is equal in fragrance. A real surprise bargain . I use it as a splash, liberally. Great for both women and men
