I got this for a wedding, I wanted a big volume hairstyle I could do at home. In the package you get 5 bumpits. 2 small ones which are useless, 1 huge one which looks ridiculous, unless you're planning on wearing it as part of a 70's inspired costume. The 2 medium ones are good, so out of the 5 those are the ones you actually use. You have to tassle the hair section, put the bumpit in, and comb the hair onto it, you can also repeat the process for the next hair section so you get a more even volume on your crown. Three things you should know: You have to tassle the hair for the bumpit to grab on, and after you comb the hair back you need LOTS of hair spray fo it to stay put. Another thing, if you put 2 in, it does look more even, but the second one doesn't stay up, it kind of lays back with the weight of the hair on it. Thirdly don't think you can ride a rollercoaster with this hairdo.. it's more likely to stay put if you're attending a dinner, wedding, and such. I do recommend this product, but it's neither life changing, or soooo easy to use (as you may have heard, or read about).
