Review: Warning: Safety hazard to consider
Beauty product: 3 Stars

I was excited about this product. I purchased it from a local retailer. However I ran into a few problems.

My first dilemma occurred when, after the 24 hour setting period, I filled all 3 chambers BEFORE mounting it to the wall. This was a mistake, as I found it difficult to attach to the mount. As it turns out, I should have practiced with an empty device. It crashed at my feet, expletives were uttered, and my shower gels went down the drain prematurely. I cleaned up, assessed the damages and deemed them minor as only 3 crescents of plastic had broken off, at the back and top parts of the three chambers. Still looked intact from the front. I was mistaken.

My second problem occurred this morning, as, after 1 and a half weeks of perfect operation, my first pump decided to stop working. Well more correctly, it became defective, allowing nearly the entire contents of my WHITE shampoo to drip out onto my WHITE bathtub. Not having my contacts in, I didn't notice this until after I'd stepped in. It soon became clear the danger I faced as I ice-skated around the tub, trying to rinse my feet off enough to gain some traction.

Basically, be careful. Don't mount a full device unless you are well experienced in this endeavor. And don't use a soap/shampoo that is the same color as your shower. And don't risk mounting a partially broken device as I did.

Review: it fell apart fast - go to your local store so if it doesn't work, you can return it easily

we live in an rv, and shower space is a luxury.

fill the canisters with water first, and let it sit in your sink to make sure it doesn't leak before you put it up.

you have to glue the base to the shower wall. sorta hard to do, but it probably will stay.

we put ours in the corner, and looks good there.

our canister fell apart and broke, and the base plate prong broke, too. first trip in the rv, and i have no idea how it could have fallen off, as it's so difficult to place the canisters on the wall bracket.

i think it is impossible to remove the base plate from the fiberglass shower wall, so now we have the base there, and can only be replaced with the exact model used. so i ordered another one from amazon.

if the first one fell apart in two weeks, why would i want another? because the base plate is super-glued to the shower. can not ever be removed once it's glued on there.

last night i saw similar ones at home depot, so i suggest you buy one there. then you can easily replace it if it breaks.

follow mounting instructions to the t.

it came with little peel and stick tags that say shampoo, soap, conditioning, and some are in french i think.

UPDATE 8 18 2009
we bot a new one to replace the broken first one, and this one has held up well, even with thousand mile road trips.
The name tags are still on and readable.
ours is in the corner, and we can store toothpaste, toothbrush, and a can of shaving gel on top of it.
easy to refill by just taking the lid off (guess some you have to remove the device from the wall, and fiddle fart to get the liquids in).
good value.
i'd buy one for any bathroom i used often, but i'd get a smiliar item from lowes or home depot instead, in case of problems with it, which i guess these often have.
