Best Cologne, but be careful!
I absolutely LOVE this cologne, when it is the real thing. I once bought a bottle of it as a oil from some guy at 69 th street in upper Darby, PA. It was GREAT & lasted for so long & I only paid $5 for a vial. Wish I could find him again. He had almost every designer out there & a oil for it.
I have only had the real thing once or twice, I think. I bought it about 9 Years ago from Macy's for the first time. I had gotten that & Polo Blue.. I bought a bottle off of Ebay to find out it was counterfeit. The one I recently bought of Amazon is the REAL DEAL. If you have bought Aqua Di Gio before. It is easy to spot the fake. The fake doesn't last as long & has a different smell. The only reason I bought it is because Amazon is the one selling it. I don't have to worry about dishonest dealers. Since Amazon has some of the best representatives for customer service. I even called to make sure it was legit & they said yes. So if I get it & it is fake. I will be mad & ask for a refund & report them to the BBB. I don't think I will need to do that though.
Someone mentioned a merchant that sold a fake & I had the same problem with them. I forget the name, but if the price is to low. Just remember the saying. You get what you pay for. Some dealers sell fakes at the real price though & Amazon should crack down. My best advice is buy directly from Amazon or go to a reputable seller like Macys or here...
If you pay less then $45 for a 3.4 ounce bottle. Odds are it is a fake & you deserve what you get. It is one of the most popular colognes. So there is a high demand for it & counterfeiters know they can make money on it. The real thing has a distinct & long lasting smell. If you have smelt the real thing. You will know between real & fake. So just buy from a reputable dealer & pay the retail price,. You won't regret it at all in my opiniion. Pay the right price. If you pay a really cheap price & get a fake. It is basically your own fault. I will say that the packaging & bottle on the fakes is really good.
I just bought it today & it has already been shipped & willbe here on the 7th of July. I didn't have to pay for S/H either, since I have Amazon Prime.
I would like to let everyone know that I received the bottle awhile ago & it is actually almost gone. The it was the real thing & not a fake. I don't understand how some people get the real version & some don't. If you have never bought Armani Aqua Di Gio before. Don't start by buying it here. Go to Macy's & actually smell the real thing. Even pay the retail price, because it is worth it. I plan on buying more, but the price went up by $12 a bottle. I wish I had bought the 6 ounce bottle.
I plan on buying Armani's Code soon. It is about $80 for a 4.2 ounce bottle, but I have heard it actually smells better then Armani Aqua Di Gio. The only bad thing is I have not smelled it before. So I won't know between counterfeit & the real thing. I don't want to waste my money & pay a huge amount only to get a fake. My brother knows what the real thing smells like. So I will buy it & let him try it & see what he says. If it is fake. You can believe I will let ppl know. Amazon needs to watch the distributors it buys from. If some people are getting fakes. There is an issue somewhere. Amazon needs to be proactive, when it comes to this issue. I know I have gotten fake sneakers in the past, because my Reebok broke down way to fast. Amazon should have to pay for making mistakes like this.
If I buy Armani Aqua Di Gio from here again & it is fake. I will update this review. Along with each time I buy it from this site. So you will be able to see how many I buy are real & how many are fake. I will be asking for refunds on any fake & even a credit. Maybe once selling some fakes hits Amazon in their pockets. They will make sure all their stuff is legit.
