The shea butter comes in a plastic container. It was not rock hard and I could easily scoop a bit into my finger and apply it to my face. I didn't have to microwave it. A little goes a long way... since too much shea butter can make one's face look greasy. Overall, I would definitely purchase this brand of shea butter again. Review: very pleased

purchased this shae butter the other day and it was delivered to me just now and i was just dieing to use it on my hair and skin. i have been hearing tons of rave about how good it is. so i had to try it. i am very pleased with the texture and quality also the smell. i will be coming back to buy some more. great stuff.
