I have medium length hair (a little over 5 inches) and this product works great with it! Easy to put in, easy to get out, has great hold and no annoying shine.
The smell is a bit soapy, but my wife swears it smells like candy.
The only thing that takes getting used to is the waxy feeling when you touch your hair, which really shouldn't surprise you seeing as how its main ingredient is wax.
I highly recommend Fiber.
