Review: A decent flat iron, but...

This flat iron was good for the price. I couldn't get my hair as straight as I wanted it, nor could I get my roots, but that might have just been my technique. I did manage to go from about 50% dry 3c curls to completely dry reasonably straight hair with no damage. The iron heats up quickly, and maintains an even heat throughout usage. My only real problem with this flat iron is that the ceramic coating is incredibly thin, and started flaking off inside three months of infrequent usage.
I'd personally go with a flat iron with either thicker ceramic coating, or ideally full ceramic plates. However, if you don't mind replacing it when the coating starts chipping, it's worth a try.
