I had been planning on switching from the expensive, $6 per cartridge razors to a good, old-fashion safety razor for a while. In this planning, I hard read several tips which recommended a pre-shave oil. After not finding any in my local area, I found the Anthony Logistics for Men Pre-Shave Oil on Amazon's web-site.
I have been extremely satisfied with this product! My main concern with using a safety razor was its lack of lubricating strip that my expensive disposable cartridges had. Well, this pre-shave oil provides an extremely comparable experience when I'm using my safety razor. As I told my friends who have recently switched to safety razors, its like putting the lubricating strip all over your face!
I was a bit concerned at the price versus volume of oil, but a little bit goes a long way. I have gotten about 6 months out of my first bottle and am getting ready to order my second. While I usually only shave 5-6 days a week, that is still a lot longer than I had originally anticipated.
My other reservation with using this product was how my skin would react to it. In the past, I have had unfavorable reactions to hair gel and other products coming into contact with the skin on my face. Even though I have good skin for the most part, I am susceptible to clogged pores, pimples, etc. when using the "wrong kind of products". Well, I was throughly relieved when I did not have such a reaction with Anthony Logistics for Men Pre-Shave Oil.
I recommend this to anyone looking for a smoother, easier shave!
