Review: Good and scratchy Japanese wash cloths, exfoliate cheaply

Don't waste your time on all those ex-foliating washes. Just buy one of these. Either use bar-soap or soft-soap, then squeeze the material a few times and it quickly works up a thick lather.
They last for ever (as in years), rinse out easily, and go miles towards clearing up any acne you might have.
They extend out to a very long rectangle, so it's very easy to wash your back, even if like me, you suffer from limited mobility in one of your arms.

These are a little scratchier than I had expected. I know they are for exfoliating, so the scratchiness is intentional. Originally I had bought these to use on my face since I use Obagi and exfoliate a lot. However, these are too rough for my face. I use them all over my body and I feel like a bear scratching my back on a tree. They feel great.
They are thin and seem to be of a relatively good quality.

Don't buy.....for the price you are better off with the Salux Brand which I have used for years (the blue one). I wanted to try something different so I got these. Very disappointed, I threw them out after a week and placed another order. Lesson learned Review: What a treat!

Got these as a gift and love them! I cut one of them up and hemmed it so it wouldn't ravel, and use it on my face. Works just as well as spendy facial scrubs. And it's wonderful for exfoliating my feet -- much nicer than a pumice stone. They work great with body wash: just scrunch them up and use them like one of those nylon "poufs." They feel invigorating and great on my skin, which has never been smoother. Review: nice for travel

These are compact and I cut them in half to use them. They're tossable. You can argue the landfill/disposal issue against washing washcloths. Me, I think that equals out, so I pack them for trips.
I have sensitive skin, and these do not scrape me up so that I have red marks.
