Review: Light and absorbent towel-to-go, now you can travel light with a full sized towel.

This towel allows me to be the perfect house-guest. It's easy to throw in your overnight bag when you're visiting friends or family so that they're not stuck laundering towels after you leave. Before the Aquis, I could never fit in a bath sized towel in my overnight suitcase with all my clothes.
It is also a great towel to carry to the gym or for camping. It is super absorbent and dries you off in less time than a traditional towel and also dries quickly so you can pack it up. It even comes with its own mesh bag which is very handy for travel. This size is great for the beach or swimming pool, especially in the lighter sea-foam color. This towel also takes up less space and soap in your washer and dries quickly in the dryer saving your energy.
Despite all these pluses I don't use this as my everyday bath towel as I like my every day towels to be more soft and plush. This towel is a no-pile, thin towel and will not give you the same feeling if you're fond of soft, fluffy and thick cotton towels. It also comes in very limited colors which may not work with your bathroom decor.
Overall, this towel is expensive but of good quality and very useful for on-the-go and outdoor use so I am happy with my purchase.
Review: Like Using a Chamois to Dry Yourself

If you are looking for a traditional, plush, soft towel, don't buy this one. It is none of these things. Rather, it is thin, feels like a wet chamois and is unlike any other bath towel I've used. The closest thing I've used to this is are microfiber towels on my car, but even those aren't the same thing. It isn't soft but neither is it going to make marks and scratches on you. It just takes some getting used to because it doesn't feel like a normal towel.
This particular towel is plenty big. It also dries me off very well because it is super-absorbent. Dry, it is very light but naturally it will gain weight as it picks up water. Even then, it is still lighter than a regular towel. Just hang it on the rack and because it is so thin, it dries quickly and as another reviewer said, it doesn't acquire that musty smell that a lot of regular towels do.
It is on the expensive side but I bought it when it was on sale as an Amazon Deal of the Day at a much more reasonable price. I have no idea how long it will last, but I plan on using it regularly until it is worn out. I like it - it dries very well. Four stars instead of five because of the price being a bit high.
(note: I am adding the following on 11/8/08): After using this product for a while, I am not as enthusiastic as I was initially. It does absorb water but it sticks to the skin so you can't rub yourself with it like you do a towel, you have to pat yourself. It doesn't feel anywhere near as soft as a regular towel, either. The good part is that it is very thin and does work, but I'd say it is better for travel/camping where space is a consideration, rather than for use in the home.
Review: Made bathtime for my Mastiff quick & easy!

I bought this product in conjunction w/ the Rapid bath outdoor dog washing system. With the ecomony like it is $100 a month dog baths, was something I had to cut back on.
I have a VERY LARGE Mastiff & although they are a short haired breed, you still have a lot of area to cover! Not only did this towel dry him THOROUGHLY, but it did so QUICKLY! (Yes I said quickly) I wish I would have video-taped exactly how long it took me from start to finish to dry him, usually I go thru 2-3 towels & in the winter, I even add blow-drying! So when not only can I use one micro-fiber towel but it actually dried my baby in less time than 3 regular towels & a blow-dryer!
Like one reviewer stated, I could see where it may be a bit harsh for a person's skin, it is a MUST have for any animal owner who has taken to bathing their own babies!
I have NEVER been more satisfied with anything I have bought from Amazon! (And I shop A LOT)!
Review: Uncomfortable, poor absorption

This thing feels terrible against skin. My girlfriend won't use it, and I'll only use it if it's the only option. Also, I was expecting it to be super absorbent and easily wrung-out. I was wrong on both counts. It's less absorbent than the cheap cotton towels I usually take. Also, it doesn't wring-out very easily or completely. It was still extremely wet and heavy even after I exerted a high degree of torque attempting to twist the water out of the towel. The only positive point I could find was that it did dry more quickly than the cotton towels, but since I rarely need to dry a towel quickly, that's not a big gain when rubbing a plastic/rubber sheet against my skin. I am not pleased with this product and cannot recommend it. Cotton towels feel better against your skin and if they get lost or destroyed, it's no big loss since they don't cost much. This microfiber towel skips across the skin like a sheet of rubber, isn't very absorbent, and has a much higher cost.
