Review: Smell gives me a headache

I practically swooned over the smell of Aubreys cucumber sea cream when I smelled the original version so I decided to give this different one a try. After I would put this on my hands, once in a while I'd catch the scent and think, what is that terribly strong odor, oh it's this goddamned lotion! Plus it gives me a headache. I couldn't even use half the container before throwing it out. I prefer this one:Aubrey Organics Sea Buckthorn & Cucumber with Ester-C Moisturizing Cream, 4-Ounce Bottle It's still OK however it used to be near magical a few years ago. I think they changed the ingredients around. It's a good cream that won't leave your hands feeling oily and doesn't give me a headache like this one. Review: The best smelling & working lotion I have ever used.

First off, THIS IS THE BEST SMELLING LOTION EVER - and it lasts a long time without being overpowering. It has a very EARTHY SCENT - with sandalwood, cedarwood, rosewood, and patchouli. The patchouli does not overpower the woods, it is strong and delicate and long-lasting all at the same time.
We rid ourselves of all chemicals in our food and personal care products, and Aubrey's is our favorite product line overall by far (although we like some products from Dr. Bronner's, Method, Seventh Generation, Burt's Bees, and Tom's of Maine).
The quality of the lotion is amazing - don't let the price scare you off. It lasts a long time, and doesn't take anywhere near the amount of the cheap crap from big box stores.
If you've gotten this far to looking at this lotion - BUY IT - you won't be disappointed.
Review: WARNING: Ingredients Not Accurate

Aubrey's must have changed their ingredient formula because the ingredients listed on Amazon and the Environmental Working Group's site ([...]) differ from those on the bottle itself. Not only has the number of ingredients increased dramatically, the actual ingredients now contain moderate toxins such as denatured alcohol (also used to thin shellac), tocopheryl acetate (EWG gives it a "4" as opposed to regular tocopheryl, which is a "2") and glyceryl linoleate. Fortunately Amazon's return policy is great. No problems there, but my search for a clean line of hand lotion continues... Review: strong scent, but good lotion

I'd have to agree with other reviewers that the strong scent is not my favorite, but the lotion is great, and the smell goes away! Yellow, creamy stuff that you can trust is all natural and makes me skin baby soft!
