I used to use the Aveeno Positvely Smooth Lotion until I could no longer find it in stores. This is the first time I have tried the shower gel. I knew the lotion worked well so I was excited to see how the shower gel worked. I have been using this product for about 2-3 weeks. It took about a week to notice a slight difference in my hair growth. I used to have to shave every other day, if not every day. Right now I haven't shaved in a week and it just looks like I haven't shaved in a couple of days. My hair isn't growing as fast and is a little softer. I have noticed the most change in my underarm hair. I used to shave my underarms daily, now I can wait a day or two in between shaves. The product is hard to get out of the bottle and doesn't look very appealing. It is a little clumpy and hard to lather. I have found that if you put a little water on the body wash or use a washcloth or loofa, it is much easier to get a good lather. I will continue to use this product, just wish I could find it in stores. I do, however think the lotion worked a bit better. Excellent product. One of the things I really like about this is the plastic container (as opposed to a metal can) - no more rust-rings on the side of the tub! I can't seem to find the product in stores anymore, so am very appreciative of the fact that I can order it on-line. Review: Works as described for me

Hair growth is definitely inhibited. It comes back slower and softer. Works great for me, but not for my husband. Review: really works to slow down hair growth when used with other products

I use this in addition to the lotion for body and the lotion for face. I have dark thick hair. It does help with thinning it out a bit. Even if you used this alone, it makes my legs feel great after shaving
