I use this product under my makeup or alone. It give a matte type finish to your face and prevents the oily appearance of skin. It also has SPF 20 so that you have a little protection from the sun.

I really like this stuff. It goes on like silk, and has an SPF 20. And that would be enough to recommend it. But it does something to the appearance of your skin, your pores, the way light hits your face, that's subtle but undeniable. It does not provide heavy coverage, or a creamy moisturizer feel. It's somewhere between a light satiny powder and a touch of magic. I'll be ordering more.

This came up on Amazon as recommended for me and I decided to try it.

I put this product on under my makeup and my makeup stays in place the entire day. There is no shine that seeps through even though I work 8 hours per day in an office. When I get home, there is no oil on my skin so it really does what it says that it will do.

I have been using Smashbox Photo Finish for an under makeup primer but it is very expensive ($35.00 at Sephora) and there is not much in the bottle. Also the Avon MagiX has an SPF 20 in it which the Smashbox does not. So for the money, Avon MagiX at $8.00 is quite the better buy.

Also my skin looks poreless with the Avon product. My skin looks poreless with the Smashbox as well, but again the price is so much more than the Avon product.

I highly recommend Avon MagiX if you want a flawless finish and if you want your makeup to last the day.

Review: Overrated and overcharged

The price of the product went down a day or 2 after I placed the order. Since I hadn't even received it yet, I thought it might be possible to get a price adjustment. I sent an e-mail asking about it. I still haven't heard back. The product arrived. It's not as great as people claim it is. I spent too much on a product that's not so great. I feel ripped-off. I'm never ordering it again.
