The AXE REFINED CLEAN-CUT LOOK POMADE has that same fresh scent of other AXE products and it does give a nice shine to the hair without being greasy in appearance or touch.
It holds pretty good for spiking the hair up and for texture, but it does get a little stiff. Not as stiff as gels, but the hair is harder to the touch than other AXE products like Axe Whatever Messy Look Paste, 2.64-Ounce Jars (Pack of 3) or Axe Laid Back Shaggy Look Cream, 2.64-Ounce Jars (Pack of 3).
I use this to style my coif everyday! Much cheaper than more expensive products like Fudge Shaper, 3.5-Ounce Bottles, which is hard to find, and works just as good and the hold lasts all day--just add a little water to your do to reactivate.
It is a little harder to work with, like another reviewer said, because the consistency is very waxy.
