Bought this small flat iron to use around my temples and close to my scalp. It does work good for that, however it is STILL a hot iron and will burn if it touches scalp/skin! I have thick curly hair and would never think that this small and cute thing would work for that. I use a bigger one for most of my hair, then this for touch ups. Review: loved my compact babyliss

I bought this flat iron some months ago and just used it today. I really like it alot, my hair is short and the plates are really good for that. It does get very hot and I do use it everyday, so hopefully with the latest in technology it will not ruin my hair. The only down side is that I cannot get to close to my roots but other then that so far so good.
