Review: Does not function AT ALL

The details say the product is new, but when I received it the packaging was open. Nothing happened when i plugged the straightener in, nothing happened when i pressed the on/off button...Basically it didn't work in any way. The seller asked me not to leave a bad review, but people have the right to know they may be wasting money on a piece of crap.
