I've been using chi for year and i swore by it. I just went to have my hair done yesterday and my stylist told me to try the new iron he got. and OMG AMAZING. The real test was it was raining out and i went outside my hair got wet and i thought it would curl up. NOPE! It dried PIN straight! I love it! I actully just got a new Chi to replace my broken one last week and I'm going to return it. GOOD-BYE CHI HELLO BABYLISS Review: Best flatiron I've ever used, period.

I had heard about the Babyliss Nano line from friends and my hairstylist, so when I was ready to make a purchase, I thought I would check it out myself. I had seen this product in a beauty supply store for $99, but I always compare pricing on Amazon and sure enough, Amazon charged substantially less. They were out of stock on the item at the time, but there was a third party vendor offering the product for the same price with no shipping charges. The iron arrived much more quickly than expected and after using it for the first time, I knew I had made the right choice. It performed well above my expectations, and so much better than the Chi that I had been using (and purchased for alot more money). The longer titanium plates allowed me to straighten more hair in a pass, cut down on ironing time, and I only had to pass it through each portion of hair once or twice. The process takes only about 5-10 mins, compared to twice that for other, more expensive irons. My thick, coarse, curly hair looks and feels smooth and soft, without that "flatironed" look. I've also been in some fairly humid conditions recently, and my hair stayed nice and straight without puffing or frizzing. In most cases, I can also wake up and not have to touch up my hair for the day. Best of all, it's relatively gentle on my hair and I can use it with the confidence that I won't experience the breakage and burning that I've had from other irons. I just have one word for this product...AWESOME!! I have very naturally curly, very thick long hair and takes forever to straighten it. This iron takes about a half hour and my hair is sooo shiny. Well worth the price. LOVE IT!! Review: Best money I've ever spent despite this recession

I just received my Babyliss iron after seeing my hairdresser use it on me a few times. I was meaning to ask her what she used, but figured it was just my hair that was the problem when I tried to straighten it. I thought they learn a secret method at the school/institute for making hair straight. I was wrong. I now have the power to straighten my hair. I ordered it 3 days ago and it's already here. I'm not surprised how fast the shipping was, since it was through Amazon.
After reading all of the amazing reviews and seeing my hairdresser use it, I decided to make the splurge for a straightner that's more than $40. Omg, it has been the best $90 I have ever spent. I was so excited I tried it immediately after it came. I put my hair in sections and slid the straightener through my hair, and it works like magic, literally. I've spent up to $250 on Magic Straight perms that only lasts ~6 months, but to have this for a lifetime for only $90, it is well worth the money. I have no regrets using this and I cannot wait to try it out as the weekend is near. Yes, there is a small gap if you only iron a small strand of hair, so I just grab a good amount when I flat iron it. I wish I knew of this sooner. I feel like my hair finally got the 2nd chance it deserved.
