Review: My new go-to lipstick

I bought the nude kit from Sephora. I liked the mauve kit a lot too, might pick that up at some point. I'm Indian (South Asian) with light brown skin... usually it's pretty difficult to find a good nude shade for me in the US, but this works well because there are 3 components - the liner (darker beige), the lipstick (pink and blushy), and the gloss (glossy lighter beige). I like that the lipstick has a pinkish blush to it. It would wash me out if it was all beige. The colors last quite well. They are muted, understated, and warm. I can see this working well on people with many different skin tones (with the caveat that it may be unwise to expect to find the perfect nude lipstick without trying it on). It worked brilliantly for me. Also, I love putting on this stuff because it smells delicious! Review: Too orange for me

I love neutral/natural colored lipsticks--I wear very little makeup most days, and prefer a natural look. I went to my nearest Ulta store where they sell these to sample the three colors, and here is my review of the colors(by the way, I am fair, blonde, with green/hazel eyes):
The Nude trio: The liner & gloss are nice, but the lipstick is very coral/orange. To be fair I only tried this one on my wrist--decided it wasn't for me & didn't put all three on my lips--perhaps the pale, beige-ish gloss would have muted the orange effect.
The Mauve trio: Perfect--I usually avoid pink--too girly for me usually, I'm more of an outdoorsy type. But, this is a nice color, and matches my lip color very closely--looked pretty good in store--I wasn't sure because there is a pink tint to it, but my sister & the saleslady both said it looked very natural. Then when I got out in the natural light I could really tell and I liked it quite a lot.
The Bronze trio: Very nice also. I read some reviews that said this was too orange, but I didn't think so--not nearly as much as the nude was. The lipstick is a pretty, shimmery coppery/brown/bronze. The three together still have a natural look, but with some shimmer for dressing up a bit.
So, I skipped the nude, which was the one I thought I'd like, and I couldn't decide between the Mauve & Bronze so I ended up ordering both.

I have searched high and low for years in an effort to find "the perfect nude" lipstick. You know, not too beige and washed-out looking, not too pink or peach. This set is just right!! I sometimes wear just the liner, which is beigey, sometimes just the lipstick, which is more pink, or layer the gloss over both for added va-va-voom and shine. I found that when I just wear the liner and lipstick, this stuff stays on forever. I will be ordering more - I may order a bunch and "horde" it - it is that good. Review: i am very disappointed with this product.

Last week I ordered the bare minerals lipstick kit in perfect nude. I am VERY disappointed with this product. I used my fifty dollar gift card that I got for birthday on this product. The color was really dark brown not at all nude. On the package it said that it would match my complexion, but it did not at all. Due to my intense dislike for this product, I would like to know if i could return it even though I already opened it.
