I'm in my mid 30s with combination skin, big pores, uneven texture and rarely have breakout. I've been using this product for almost 6 months. First week use, I had bad reaction. My skin became sensitive to touch and I started to have acne. So I contacted the customer service. I received 2 different replies. The first one doesn't help me with my problem but the 2nd one suggests that I apply the product with a brush instead of the applicator. She thinks I might be allergy to the applicator which is made of latex. I use latex glove all the time and have no allergy. Anyway, after I avoid using the applicator all the acne disappeared and I see improvement. The way I apply it is by tapping some powder out on my palm, dab on my face and rub all over. Then, I apply my moisturizer. I'm doing the opposite way but it works for me.
My skin is normally very oily in the morning but it's not anymore. It's nice to wake up with a fresh looking face. Blackhead is less. Pore size takes quite awhile to reduce. Only now I can see it's a little less noticeable. Skin texture is smoother. Overall my skin looks clearer. So I'm happy with product.
Reason for 4 star is because I hate the applicator. When applying with the applicator, I don't even know how much I actually rub on my face. So I tend to keep on tapping and rubbing for a few minute. May be it irritates my skin and cause the breakout? Plus, when I pull the applicator out I can see a lot of the powder wasted around the applicator. Those I can use for a week using my fingers.

I have been undergoing chemo for breast cancer with the accompanying steroids. After having little to no acne as a teenager and clear skin up to now, the massive breakouts of red pimples and white heads was difficult to deal with. I had noticed when I slept in the Bare Escentials makeup my skin seemed to be slightly better the next day so I decided to give this a shot. Having a science background I have to admit I was somewhat skeptical but decided it wouldn't hurt and could help... well it did. The night after I used it first time (and again lightly under my make-up the next day) I washed my face and after glancing in the mirror wet it again figuring I hadn't gotten all the make up off!!! All the red and about 80 of the acne was gone! Including the white heads! I have used it since and can tell you the difference in my skin is nothing short of amazing. It is actually less sensitive (probably because of the lack of acne) and the smaller pimples have stayed gone. I would say that it is hovering around the 85 to 90% gone without any redness. It also works well on the decolletage area that was broken out as well as the added benefit of giving you a bit of make up coverage during bed time (bonus!)
As far as the colors go... they don't match up with the Bare Minerals foundations, they are a bit yellower. I am a fairly light and the clear is perfect. I would say whatever you are go for that if it's the same or go to the shade lighter. Also I found that sort of patting it on worked better than trying to buff it on. I have the Dior catwalk blush with the same type of applicator which you really can buff on, but this one is stiffer and not very soft (remember my skin is somewhat sensitive now- it may not bother you). The patting does perfectly fine as it comes out in a fine puff- you don't need to use alot, just a light dusting. I use a brush at the end to sort of even it out- but also not strictly necessary.

I have been using this product for 2 days and have already noticed my face looks much more refined, pores less noticable and less flaky skin. I use a retinol so my skin can tend to flake but this has helped and it has only been 2 days. I am excited to see what other benefits come out of it since I am hoping to get my moneys worth since it's so dang expensive! Review: made my acne worse!

i've been using bare escentuals mineral foundation and other products for over a year now and i have been very happy with them. i have oily skin and i tend to break out, so when i read the glowing reviews on the be rareminerals skin revival treatment, i thought i would give it a try.
i used the product as directed every night for over a month. my acne is worse than it was before. i now have more cystic acne than i've had in years. i didn't change anything else in my skincare routine, so i'm pretty confident that the skin revival treatment is the cause. i will continue to use other be products, but i definitely wasted my money on this one.
