Review: Bare Minerals Lagging in Ethic Compatibility

I am an African American woman who has been using Bare Minerals for two months. My biggest complaint would have to be the lack of selection for women with ethnic skin tones. During my consultation it took two make-up artists, several samples and a barrage of apologies before we discovered a solution. The Sephora representatives told me that Bare Minerals has not yet developed a color plaid that is compatible for women with yellow undertones (whatever that means). Although we could not find a suitable "system" (i.e. powder, mineral veil, concealer) we were able to find a "warmth" powder that complemented my skin perfectly. I have never been much of a make-up girl but working in the entertainment field I wanted to feel a bit more refined. Bare Minerals offers luminous coverage without looking caky or overdone. I am plagued with oily skin and frequent breakouts. The lightweight minerals are easy to apply, help control shine and are easily cleansed away. So far I have never experienced a breakout as a result of B.M. use. Overall I love the product, I just wish Bare Minerals would step their game up in the Ethnic market... they are missing out on valuable consumer dollars.

RareMinerals, in my opinion, is an excellent product. I had always avoided using nighttime facial products because my skin is oily. RareMinerals is the one nighttime treatment that I can use. It seems to "normalize" my skin. Added bonus: RareMinerals is tinted and makes your skin tone look even, so you get to go to bed looking nice! A very light application is all that is needed, so one container of RareMinerals lasts a long time. I will continue to buy this product! Review: Love it

I bought this and the starter kit about 3 weeks ago. My skin has never looked better.
Normally, (ever since i was about 12) i've had random acne. I used proactiv and it was ok, but I still had acne.
When i started using this product immediately i noticed smaller pores and the best part of it all no acne.
I like using this when i'm at home on the weekends during the days too when i dont want to put on full make up and just want some color.
I would recommend this to everyone.

I was a bit skeptical about this product, but after only a few days I can already tell a difference! My skin is combination, but pretty oily in the T-zone area. This treatment along with my Clean/Clear moisturizer has really improved my skin. I'm sticking with this and the make-up! Just wish I would've tried this out sooner. Review: No noticeable difference

Didn't see any noticeable difference with regard to skin tone and clarity. I did notice some redness around my nose disappear. I think $60 is too much to pay for this product. Just seems like a lot of hype. I got the medium which turned out too dark for me. Clear would have been a better choice. Would not buy again.
