This was an excellent way to familiarize yourself with the Bare minerals Sephora products. they have been excellent as far as coverage and we don't have to use a lot of product to get the affect.
Naturally, they are not magic and can't make me look as good as the models that are used but even at my age, I like to look like I have nice skin without the caked on makeup look.

I have tried the imposters of mineral makeup, but Bare Escentuals is the best. The get started kit is a great value and comes with full written instructions on each product as well as a "how to" DVD so you can't go wrong. I received as a bonus with this kit a product called Prime Time that is applied before the makeup. It is truly amazing and I can't imagine every applying makeup again without it. Another plus is that a little goes a long way and does provide the full coverage without feeling like you're wearing heavy makeup. I would definitely recommend this product and will order nothing else myself. Review: Never Going Back

I have never been sold on an item before in a matter of seconds. The minute I applied the mineral powder to my face I had instant flawless coverage. The product is so light it sincerely feels as if you aren't wearing makeup at all.
Because of bare minerals I have not had a single break out. At this point the only thing to "cover up" are some minor blemishes. I actually wear less make up because of bare minerals, which I love because I don't always want the matte finish. I like being able to change it up so some days it looks like I'm not wearing makeup and other days it looks like I just came out of a salon. Bare Minerals gives you that freedom.
The only thing I would recommend is, if you can, go to a Sephora store first and let them help you figure out which tone would fit you best. I got the second lightest trial box and it was still too dark. Plus, you just can't get those quality brushes for this amazing price.
I highly recommend this product.

I have sensitive fair skin and Bare Escentuals is the best makeup I have found. I get the package for the value; however, I have purchased items separately. Another plus for the package is that the sizes are a little smaller, which is great for travel. The brushes are extra soft. This is a great value!

Gives you an option of colours and the basic i.d. Bare Minnerals product one would need. Tan and Medium Tan suited my yellow golden skin tone. However, I need to mix both the colours. The brushes were definitely of help and so was the help start DVD on "how to" use the products. I think with such an affordable price - it is a great marketiing tool to garner new users and keep loyalty going.
