Review: Love your Skin with BareMinerals

I have worn Bare Escentuals mineral SPF 15 foundation for the last four years and my skin looks and feels fantastic. Prior to wearing this foundation, I did not want to be seen in public. My face has age spots, patches of redness and acne scars. This foundation is light as a feather but it is big on coverage. Now all I see when I look at myself in the mirror is flawless skin. The foundation is long wearing, no need to touch up throughout the day and it has a sun protective factor of 15. This makeup is by for the finest makeup you can buy. Review: Didn't work for me!

I let a coworker talk me into trying Bare Escentuals. In theory I like it--I don't like applying heavy, oily feeling foundations to my face so the thought of a powder was intriguing. I found it covered well, but no matter what color or tint I used, it made my skin color look off. The sales person said this sometimes happens and suggested I try a similar mineral foundation from another company which worked much better with my skin tones. What I found hard to believe though was that none of their hues that matched my skin tone managed to look natural. Review: Been using Bare Esdentuals for years

I recently bought a new container of Bare Escentuals and I realized just how much I love this foundation. I have been using it for about six years now and just love it.
I have sensitive skin and absolutely cannot wear liquid or cake foundation. SOme other products actually hurt my skin. I have never experienced any discomfort with BE--ever. It goes on light and stays on.
The other issue I always had with foundation is that if I was in a hurry and didn't put it on correctly, everyone could see visible lines on my face. Again, I have never had this issue with BE. It goes on easy and feels like it isn't there.
Finally, the other thing I appreciate is that, when I used to wear cream foundation, when I would sweat, it would get on the collar of my blouses. BE is so light, that this never happens.

The product itself is fantastic. However the company is not. It always takes forever to recieve anything that I buy from there. This time the containter was in pieces and all of the powder was loose inside the package. I returned it and have never recieved a replacement. Review: White heads eruption!

It was time to purchase some new make up and I had seen the infomercials regarding Bare Minerals. They mention that even sensitive skin benefits from this make up. I was so excited to test it out, and two weeks later, was horrified by the results. I have sensitive skin, but this make-up didn't affect me immediately. Slowly, I started seeing little bumps form on my forehead. Then the bumps spread everywhere on my face and I realized many of them were transforming into little white heads. I tried to extract them safely, but they have now become too much for me to handle. When I wash my face, I feel hundreds of tiny bumps under my skin. I haven't been using it for 3 days now, and I'm hoping that my skin will return back to normal soon. I never had any of the itching like some of the others, but the break out has really affected my self esteem.
