Review: Big Disappointment!

After reading other reviews, this product sounded perfect. I am a satisfied customer of many Bare Minerals products...but Prime Time eyelid primer came out in small lumps, was dry and difficult to spread. I use a good moisturizer, but this just didn't work for me. I tried "just a tiny amount" (no coverage) "a little more" (some coverage) but after all was said and done, the coverage was not smooth, only spotty. I'm giving it one star, because, it did seem that my eye shawdow stayed on a bit longer...the eyeliner did not. Your money might be better spent on a cheaper concealer found at your local pharmacy... This product lasted for about 1.5 to 2 months of daily use. It was great! The only trouble was that it ran out abruptly. I guess I should have known that the time to replace it was near, but I didn't get one single clue that I was at the bitter end of the tube. One morning, I literally twisted the tube and it was all gone! I couldn't even squeeze an "emergency drop" until I got a new one. So, the lesson is, BUY EXTRA TUBES and keep yourself stocked. It's a great product.

I purchased this product after reading all of the favorable reviews. I honestly wasn't expecting much because I've tried other Bare Escentuals primer products and didn't really care for them. But I thought I would give this a try because I do have a problem with eye makeup settling in the creases by the end of the day. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by this product. My Bare Escentuals eye makeup stays firmly put throughout the entire day, just as if it was freshly applied. My boyfriend even made a comment at dinner last night about how nice my eye makeup looked. I wasn't wearing anything different than usual, so my only conclusion is that this eyelid primer helps the makeup stay on longer. I also notice that when I apply my eye makeup, the color seems to have a deeper intensity, and the loose minerals don't go flying around all over the place as much. Something in this eyelid primer holds the makeup to where it's applied. I've fallen in love with this product and can't believe I went so long without it. I don't know how this stuff works, but it does!

This product truly does what is says. I tried other brands and nothing works as well as this primer. My makeup stays on all day, when it used to come off only hours after I applied it. Review: The Best!!!

I have very oily eyelids and have tried several products to make my eyeshadow and liner stay put throughout the day....needless to say, none of them worked! This one however did!!! I was AMAZED!!! Usually my eye make up begins to fade and crease almost a hour after applying. With this stuff it stays on ALL day until I wash my face. I had almost given up on being able to wear eye makeup...glad I found this product. Try it, you will not be disappointed!!!
