You should ignore the XL part of the L/XL because I am currently whittling down from Extra Large and the fit wasn't exactly great when I was fully XL and not just on the border. It was loose enough in the arms, but tying it across my body didn't wrap as much as I would like. (Though it wrapped a little bit) But otherwise I love the product. It's comfortable, great for hot days, great for days I put moisturizer on my legs and I was surprised by how much I liked the hood. Normally I don't go in for hooded robes but I found I could safely sit in my leather chair with the hood up while my hair air dried. Perfect!
