Product reviews of Bella B Tummy Honey Butter - 4 oz Review: I thought I was strech mark prone until Bella B. Beauty product: 5 Stars
I would highly recommened this prduct. I am/was a person who was very prone to strech marks. I have lots of them left over from being an overweight teen and though it was a sure thing when I got pregnant. I though I would try the product since it got so many positive reviews and as it was paraben free, I didn't need to worry about the effects it would have on me or the baby. I started using it at around 3 months and went through two jars before the end of the pregnancy. I never had an ichy tummy, not a single strech mark and my tummy has never been so soft and smoothe. It's a great product that I will certainly use for my next pregnancy and recommened it to others. It is no garentee, but it worked for me.
Review: It WORKED! I am prone to stretch marks and didn't get them! Beauty product: 5 Stars
I love this stuff! It saved my belly! I know that this creme actually was the reason for my lack of stretch marks because I did get marks in the places where I didn't put it (my breasts and hips), which stretched far less and much slower than my belly. I put it on once a day beginning in my second trimester, then twice a day in my third trimester.
It helps so much with the itching. I ran out on day in my third trimester and went wild with itching until I got the next container. Over my 2nd and 3rd trimester I used up 4 of these things.
Also, this stuff smells wonderful. The smell is kind of light and floral instead of that normal stretch mark creme coco butter scent. There are many herbs and extracts in this stuff that presumably make it smell so natrual and refreshing. It feels nice on (compared to other similiar products), and is soft and easy to apply. It does not stain clothing as one product I tried did.
One thing buyers should be warned about, in case it is something bothersome for certain people is that this stuff is very hard to get off your hands after applying it. Soap doesn't do it, there is still a residue even after a vigorous washing. I used dish soap and a rough sponge because the residue from my hands used to get on my hair and make it have a strange sticky texture. I guess this texture and relative water-proofness is what is necessary to make a product that works so well!!
Review: It works Beauty product: 5 Stars
I am 5 months pregnant and I have been using this item for more than a month. Just before using it, my stretch marks began appearing although I was using some other moisturizer. After Bella B, I have never seen a new mark on my tummy. I am really happy with it. My most important concern is that it is very oily and makes me a little uncomfortable. Also, I need to apply it twice on some days to prevent itchiness and red marks.
Review: It's too greasy for me Beauty product: 3 Stars
I bought this item because I read rave reviews from a bunch of celebrity Moms. I had been using Dancing Dingo's Tummy Butter. This product doesn't compare at all... it's super greasy and doesn't seem to last very long. I think part of the problem is that since it's greasy, it doesn't absorb into the skin very fast and it ends up on your clothes.
I'll stick with Dancing Dingo.
Review: LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS STUFF! Beauty product: 5 Stars
I love this stuff. It is silky smooth and makes my skin so soft. I'm 31 weeks pregnant and don't have a single stretch mark! I do still have some itchiness, but I can't imagine how itchy I would be without using this. I also love that it is all natural and doesn't contain lanolin or parabens. In terms of greasiness, it is thicker and greasier than a normal body lotion, and it doesn't rub in completely, but this makes me feel like it's staying on my skin and working. My work around for this is simply to wear a light cami or undershirt under my normal top.
