My wife has been using this product for a few weeks and gives it a two thumbs up:
1. smell - pregnant women often have a heightened sense of smell. this product's fragrance hasn't turned my wife off
2. stickiness - it's appropriately viscous without leaving that heavy cream after-feel
3. consistency - it's smooth

My wife just got through her third pregnancy where we used this oil occasionally. I like that it has a spritzer top to efficiently apply the oil. It seems to moisturize skin well, though we weren't disciplined enough to use it regularly. As a result, we have a lot left over and we found it great as a lavender-scented massage oil for rubbing mom's tired muscles when she's through with your pregnancy and have a little left over!

My wife is just starting to use this BELLI Elasticity Belly Oil for her growing baby oven. The smell is pleasant and mild enough not to trigger her now-oversensitive gag reflex and it feels very smooth and rich. The ingredients are a list of natural and luxurious skin treatments, including gotu kola and cocoa butter. The glass bottle makes for easy dispensing and preserves the oils for a long time. The oils definitely soothe and moisturize. Plus it's nice for a little massage on the ol' tumtum. I'll report back after things run their course regarding stretch marks. Review: Love this oil!

I agree with some of the lower ratings as far as the cost of the oil. It is a bit pricey. Also, stretch marks can't really be prevented. All that being said, this oil has all kinds of great moisturizers for your skin. It definitely helps soothe some of the itching when your belly gets larger. I also adore the scent. I use it as aromatherapy at bedtime to help me sleep. The lavender scent is very calming. Even at the price, I won't go a day without it during my pregnancy as it has become an evening ritual with my hubby and I to catch up over baby talk while he rubs my belly. In my opinion it's a very good product. might be the best in the market.
I recommend it to everyone, i think it's even more effective when you sart using it at the early stage of the pregnancy.
