I think mascara is the most important makeup item a gal needs, but not if it's Benefit's Badgal Lash Mascara. The brush is way too big and I get mascara all over my eyeshadow when applying. It flakes and makes the end of my lashes curl the opposite way so that they're "S" shaped! It takes forever to get decent volume - forget any length - the "S" shape lashes put an end to that! So far the best I've found is Covergirl's Volume Exact. I apply a coat of a lengthening mascara first (Maybelline's new one in the bright green tube or Lash Exact) and then add lots of Volume Exact for thick & long natural looking lashes.
Don't waste your money on this expensive mascara.

I have horrible eye allergies, and this is one of the few mascaras I can actually wear all day. I also have thin lashes and Bad Gal actually makes it look like I have thick ones! I totally love this mascara, I actually use it for everyday use and it doesn't look too heavy on me, but like I said I have thin, short lashes naturally. It may not be for everyone, but for people with allergies, or short lashes, Bad Gal does the job very well. Review: I LOOOOOVE my BADgal Lash!

I don't wear makeup often but I am a performing bellydancer so when I do my eye makeup it needs to be dramatic. The badgal lash is perfect for making my lashes stand out. It has not flaked or smudged yet, and is not clumpy or sticky either. With mascara you get what you pay for and the price is worth it for this! Review: I can't use any other mascara

I usually try to get most of my make up on the cheap, but this mascara is totally worth the $19. It's the only mascara where I've used the entire tube and it stayed perfect until the very last bit.
I don't have a lot of eyelashes and this stuff actually makes them look full and long without any clumping or having to apply 20 coats.
If you've been looking for the perfect mascara, this is as good as it gets.
