When I first saw the bright pink color of this, I was apprehensive to give it a try. But I'm glad I did. I have a medium skin tone and this give my cheeks a flush look, similar to the color I get when exercising. For me, this is my go to color for the spring/summer months.

The nail polish-like brush makes it easy to apply. I put 3 dots on the apples of my cheeks and blend. I haven't tried it as a lip stain so I cannot comment on that but I do love it as a cheek stain.

I have been looking for a tint blush for a while. This color Benetint is deep rose, but can be adjusted by the amount used. It is to be applied with the cap top brush, but I prefer to use my fingers after the first swipes. It takes a little practice, but lightly dabbing around apple of your cheek seems to work best. I like the tint because it is more long lasting than regular powder or cream blush and works well without foundation. I know they offer other colors so check around.

I love this stuff primarily because it gives my lips a natural looking ruby-red tint. I put on two coats in the morning before work, and the coloring lasts until about lunchtime, depending on whether I choose to eat or drink something. Also, speaking of drinking, I like how the Benetint doesn't leave that grotesque looking lip print on my coffee cup.

The rose scent that seems to bother some others doesn't bother me at all. It's very subtle, and I can't smell it at all after the tint dries.

It is kind of pricey, so I'm hoping it will last a long time. Also, the applicator is the same you find in nail polishes, and I've found that it needs to be cleaned every couple of weeks. Otherwise, the strands start sticking together. I just use a mild soap, and that seems to do the trick.

Review: Not exactly what I expected...

I love benetint so I knew just knew this product was going to be great. I was expecting a pink version of benetint and that's not exactly what this is. It is kind of disturbing at first glance because it is not transparent and it is violently pink. But I went ahead and tried it anyway and I do like it alot. It works very well as a cheek stain, in fact I like it better than the original benetint. But as a lip stain it can look a little too pink on me. My skin tone is medium to slightly olive and it can be a bit too strong so I use it more as a primer/base color. I think it would look the best on a fairer skin tone if you use it alone. But overall I really like the product and love benefit cosmetics.
