Review: Great--if your skin is yellow.

I am a fan of 'corrective colouring' in cosmetics--blue and green and yellow can work wonders to balance out a complexion. I have heard so many positive things about Benefit that I decided to order this and give it a try. It was ALL WRONG for me... I looked sickly. My complexion is pale olive (admittedly a difficult colour for any cosmetic match--olive makeup tends to be darker). I also ordered other Benefit products, and ended up returning all to Sephora. The colours we off for me, and the concealer actually made me break out. I didn't like the packaging, either--too Cutesy for my taste. Many people swear by Benefit, and love the playful branding. To each their own. Not for me. // On another note, I was SO impressed with Sephora. What excellent customer service. // On yet another note, I ordered a starter kit of Bare Minerals at the same time, and LOVED it. Beautiful, natural and natural-looking makeup.... and tasteful packaging. Review: Uneven skin tone doesn't stand a chance!

This must be magic dust in a jar. I have a bit of redness on my cheeks, and this product from Benefit supplies just the right amount of coverage. I wouldn't recommend this to extremely fair skin types, but on my skin (medium to light) the powder is perfect- even used alone- for covering uneven skin tones. Like all Benefit products, ( I use several) you can be certain that you are getting a high quality product. I have never had any break outs or skin problems while using Benefit, and my skin is VERY sensitive. I highly recommend this product and the brush that goes with it!
