Product reviews of Benefit Cosmetics Gee... That Was Quick! Makeup Remover

Review: Gee that was quick
Beauty product: 4 Stars

My sister gave me a bottle of this product, and it really gets your skin very clean. I usually wash my face first with soap, then use the make-up remover to get my eye makeup off that the soap leaves behind, then I rinse my face off. It leaves a strange residue on my skin that I think you could leave on, but I prefer to rinse it off just because my skin is very prone to breakouts, and I don't want to chance it with leaving a product on my face. Overall, I think it does a wonderful job getting my face very clean and it almost works as a clarifying lotion. NOt only does it get the makeup off your face, but any dirt that was on your face before you put the make up on. It's very gentle on your eyes, and does not burn if you get it in there, even if you clean your eye makeup with contact lenses in.

Review: Gentle on eyes
Beauty product: 4 Stars

This product is great for removing eye make up and all face make up. I don't normally use water-proof mascara, so not sure if it works well, but I would guess that it does. It doesn't irritate my eyes if I get some of the product in them. I like the non-greasy texture. It kind of feels like soapy water, but never suds. I use it on a round cotton pad.

Review: No Greasy finish quick and easy
Beauty product: 4 Stars

This product admittedly took some getting use to. It has a totally different texture from other products like Lancome's bi-facial or even Keihl's; and for that reason you aren't quite sure if it's doing it's job at first. However, it does the job. No greasy-ness, no alcohol feeling. It really just feels like water when you're trying to remove make-up. There's no problem with getting it in your eyes or anything. It is extremely gentle in that regard.

For day to day use it's fine. For heavy make-up use, I usually do a two step process of washing the face first, then using this product, then washing again. In reality, you probably don't need to do that, but I sometimes have to go VERY heavy for camera related stuff.
