this highlighter looks amazing on my skin. it's definitely a day time highlighter, but you can dress it up for a night out with a shimmery powder on top. i usually set it in the day time with absolutely invisible candlelight highlighter by too faced, which has tiny, tiny specks of gold shimmer. for night, i have many options. it was just hard to find a gentle powder highlighter like candlelight. but back to the product, im pretty sure there's nothing else like it, and i might even consider it my holy grail highlighter. This is a great product. Great for day use. Has no glitter, is just shimmery, slightly peachy. Gives you a healthy glow. I use it everyday, with or without foundation. I don't regret buying it. Review: meh

I ordered this because my favorite Brit video makeup gurus recommended it. For me, it's not so special. a subtle glow I do like, however, the product itself is thick & doesn't sit that well on the skin. if you blend it too too much, you lose the gorgeous glow you put it on for in the 1st place. if you don't blend enough, it sets in slightly a clumpy fashion that shows in close photos or bright light. (the shimmer particles don't set evenly if too thickly applied.)
I think I would prefer a sheer powder-type highlighter.
On a positive, the product smells quite nice & does actually do what it advertises. I'd just prefer a lighter, almost sheer finish with a maximum glow factor. maybe the high beam would work better for me, but I'd bet it's a similar pasty-like product.
