It works pretty well and gives me a close shave. It definitely beats regular shaving cream! However last Christmas I was given some L'Occitane shaving oil, which I used under regular shaving cream and I got a smoother shave than with this product alone. Review: Good but not the best...

Took a little while to get used to the silicon base but this shave cream works well. Now is it worth the premium price? Perhaps not. I think it is a good "special occasion" type product. Perhaps I am putting too much thought into shaving. For day to day I like Aveda. Review: Good stuff

I really like this shaving cream. It's definitely worth spending a little extra money for a nice product. This was especially clear when I went on a business trip and packed a travel size can of standard shave cream. Awful stuff. In the past I have used Anthony products, which I also enjoyed. Not sure if this bottle should be priced so high, but it does provide a nice smooth shave, doesn't smell strongly, and rinses off easily. Now, if my Fusion blades would last longer than two weeks, things would be fantastic! Only reason four stars and not five is the price is a bit high. Would like to see it in the $15-18 range. Bought this in addition to the Panasonic Arc IV shaver. Combined it makes for a great shave. I occasionally use it with my safety razor too and it works well, as long as one is careful.
