I absolutely love this mascara! Though you can't add more once you've put it on, it stays on and comes on great with just a little bit of water and either your fingers or a washcloth! Let me start by saying that I have freak-of-nature eyelashes that go all the way to my eyebrows and force me to wear sunglasses down away from the bridge of my nose so my lashes don't rub against the lenses of the glasses. Lest you think this is boisterous, I can assure you it's not such a good thing AT ALL.
Because of their length, normal mascara winds up ALWAYS on my cheeks if I put it on my bottom lashes because when I smile the lashes will touch my skin. Too, my upper lashes moving during blinking transfer tiny bits under my eyes which means I have raccoon eyes within about an hour of mascara wanding. I was always looking beat up and tired.
Because of this I've used every water proof mascara on the planet, 24 hour mascara, unGodly expensive mascara that swore it would stay put...
to NO avail.
I began having my eyelashes dyed (I kid you not, I found a place in Austin that does this)because mascara and me just don't mix. Problem with eyelashes being dyed is it makes them show up but there is no thickness added. Some days I just added mascara to the base of my lashes and not the tips...that looked stupid.
All that to say...a make up artist used this stuff on me...

I would have to say this is the best discovery I've made make-up wise in my entire life.
FINALLY I can wear mascara...all day...every day...NO FLAKES or smudges because it doesn't go on in particles like other mascaras do (and when the particles come loose in other mascaras they wind up below your eyes) This one brushes on and you can brush on more when it's wet to build up even more thickness and length then...it's so cool...it forms tubes around your eyelashes. No individual tiny particles to flake off. My eyelashes are super thick, super black, now so long strangers comment on them (seriously even a man in a bar discussed my eyelashes at length. No joke. That's craziness.)
And it's better for my lashes because there is no stuck on goop on them each night that I have to tug off...so my lashes are spared and healthy.
I am a raving fan.
Do note that the first time I used this stuff I FREAKED out because when I washed my face at night and rubbed my eyes I thought all my eyelashes fell out. But then I looked at them and they were all there...it's the tubes. They stay put all day then the tubes come easily off with soap and water...no pulling, tugging, etc. You can pick up the tube and squish it and see it's not your lashes...they stay on your face and healthy...very sci-fi mascara.
IMPORTANT: I realized that you need to put a second or third coat on BEFORE the mascara dries. Do not do it after it dries because the tubes are already formed and it won't work.
Negatives: Cost...I wish somebody would copy this stuff and put it in the grocery store but it's worth it to me til they do.
IF YOU HAVE REALLY SHORT LASHES: This stuff will still build them up like crazy. You make them as thick or long as you want based upon how many coats you put on your lashes. I put on one and they already get thicker and longer but you can do two or three whatever and they'll get thicker or longer really well, but make sure you put it on while the first coat is wet...it will stay wettish a few minutes though.

I bought my first tube of Blinc in October of last year. I still have the same tube and I use it about 3 to 4 times a week. I LOVE IT. I always had issues with other mascaras smudging or giving me raccoon circles. No waterproof mascara worked for me, and getting it off was another problem entirely. I will never switch back to regular mascara. I love how easy it goes on, how easy it cleans up (get a little under your eye? No problem, let it dry for a minute and take a dry q-tip to it and light brush the spot until it comes off, no makeup redos!), and it is amazing how easy it comes off - COMPLETELY. I no longer have to use harsh eye make up removers or creams. I just wash my face like normal and the little tubes slide right off. I never worry about checking my eye make up anymore because I know I don't have to worry about my mascara rubbing off under my eyes! Blinc is worth every dime. Review: throw away your other mascaras

I have always had problems with mascara. I have allergies and sensitive eyes and wore contacts for almost 20 years. For about the last 10 years, I used mascara only for going out at night or other special occasions, because no matter what kind I used and what I used to remove it, my eyes would be dry, red and puffy the next day. Because this mascara works on a different concept, I decided to try it and am hooked. I can wear mascara every day now! It does not give as thick a look as some others, but for me it's a small price to pay. Two coats does give you a thicker look and the lashes look very long. It washes right off, but you do kind of have to rub your lashes with your fingers. You'll see what look like little black threads as they come off; there are NO smudges or stains! It is well worth the $20. Review: No more racoon eyes for me!

For years I've had problems with mascara that melted off my eyelashes onto the surrounding skin and gave me racoon eyes. Even the ones that weren't supposed to, and that took forever to remove at the end of the day.
This product is amazing. To remove it you simply use warm to hot water and gently use your fingers to slide the mascara coating off of your eyelashes. This reduces your exposure to other chemicals. All my other makeup may have melted by the end of the day, but my eyelashes still look great! The friend who told me about this mascara learned about it through her detatologist.
One note, this product must be cared for differently than most mascaras. If you pull the brush out and find any excess, blot it on a tissue - NEVER wipe it back into the container or you will shorten the life of the product. You must keep the opening free and clean and not let any build up accumulate or the air seal will become clogged, the contents will begin to dry out and clump, and you won't get the full use of your product.
