I practice dermatology in Charleston, SC. I have given this sunblock to over 500 patients, and have not had one person develop a contact allergy to it. Most importantly, Blue Lizard provides complete UVA+UVB protection. In practical use it has proven much more effective than other SPF 30-50 sunblocks, at preventing sunburn. I also give this to patients with Lupus or patients on Accutane. Review: fantastic protection

Blue Lizard was the sun protection my dermotologist wanted me to use. I used to be able to buy it at the grocery store, but have been unable to find it this year. Was overjoyed to find it on Amazon. Blue Lizard is one of the only over the counter sun screens that you can buy which contains at least 3% zinc (the only true sun blocker). It goes on easily and evenly and doesn't run when you sweat. My entire family uses it.
