Product reviews of Bumble and Bumble Curls Conscious Conditioner for Medium-Thick Hair, 8 Ounces Review: I have used it for years and could not live without it- better than any anti-frizz I've tried so far. Beauty product: 5 Stars
Very good product. If I had to guess, I would say they made it to be very similar to natural scalp oils with a little something added in to make your curls a little curlier. It stops frizz like nobody's business. Even works great as a leave in conditioner for straight hair, believe it or not.
Review: LOVE THIS STUFF! Beauty product: 5 Stars
It works great, smells great and a little goes a long way - what more could a person ask for?
I don't buy into the marketing game of making us believe that somehow a product in a bottle is going to turn our hair into something it has never been and never can be. I have this hair - nothing is going to give me thick, full hair. Oh sure, extra body shampoos and conditioners make my hair "poof" out so it appears to be thicker, but it isn't.
This stuff does not weigh my hair down and it brings out my curls nicely.
I will say that after using it for a couple of weeks, I take a day or two off and use another shampoo and conditioner. The reason being is that this is very kind to curly hair (which is normally very dry) but my hair is just growing out from a short cut and is in as perfect of condition as it can be - no blow drying, no hair dyes, no highlights, etc.. So I need something that isn't quite as "nice" to my hair after using it for awhile to get rid of over softening - the best word I can think of to define what my hair does! Those 2 or so days of not using it really makes me miss the smell and feel of my hair!
Yes, it's pricey, but you won't be going through this bottle quickly. Even the shampoo only requires about a quarter size amount to suds up my hair - which as I mentioned is on the thin side and shoulder length right now.
If you're nervous about spending this much, I was able to order a trial size of the shampoo, conditioner and curl care product that goes on after you have towel dried. That way I wasn't making such a huge investment before I knew if I was going to like it or not. The trial sizes worked so well I spent over $75 to buy the full sized products, which may not be a lot of money for many people, but I've never been one to spend a lot of time or money on my hair. It is what it is and I'm not going to waste my time trying to make it look different.
If you have curly or wavy hair, give this a try, I really think you'll like the smell and the silky feel after your hair has dried!
