after 2 hrs of trial and error im getting the hang of it and its actually easy and semi-fool proof. yes you do need "special polish" china glaze's chrome and romantique collection works well for the design plates, or... any good chrome would do. i have not encountered a design that does not transfer yet. but we'll see
edge is sharp and cut my skin when i first receive it.but i guess, tats preventable if you're careful when holding the plate

i got my plates sooner than expected and i really like them. Its worth the price...was spending too much for konads ips...just becareful with edges cause they r sharp and i got cut but other than that i love doing my nails and always get compliments.AMO! Review: yes....go ahead and buy this! :)

i absolutely love my plates. close to konad plates, except these r kinda sharp around the edges. but you can't beat the price, especially for their quality. i love, love, love these and definetly recommend them!
