I wouldn't say it's the best, but not the worst either. And because it's mostly natural, I'm sold. I think it does increase the shine of my hair, and it smells decent. I'm no hippy but after reading on the EPA website about what we have in our homes, I don't want toxic stuff around my family, so I will give up the salon brands for health. Babies have died from swallowing beauty products, such as hair conditioner, so this Burt's Bees stuff rocks. I got the "baby bee" baby wash and milk lotion and my daughter's mild excema is completely gone, but like I said it was mild (though VERY persistent). Review: Big Fan

I wouldn't normally consider myself to be a proponent of organic anything but I definitely won't buy anything else in terms of shampoo and conditioners now. I was having issues with dry, itchy, flaky scalp and after using the Burt's Bee's shampoo and conditioner I have seen a drastic improvement. I would compare the quality of this conditioner to a salon brand. It does wonders for keeping my hair soft and manageable while taking care of any tangle issues I have(which are numerous because I have curly hair). Recommend this product because it doesn't have any sulfates, parabens, phthalates or petrochemicals. So cancer causing ingredients are not going on my scalp and being rinsed down the drain into our water supply. It will leave tangles, if you rinse it out too much. I barely rinse in order to solve this problem. It smells very nice. And it doesn't leave a slippery film in the bathtub. Review: I want to really like this product

I wanted to really like the product, but I don't. I have used Pantene Conditioner for years, and wanted to try an eco-friendly product instead.
After using this product my hair felt OK, but it was nothing compared to excellent feeling of Pantene.

I have to say that the pomegranate and soy shampoo and conditioner have a pleasant smell. I wouldn't buy this if you expect much volume, though. My hair looks healthy and shiny, but it's still quite flat. Sorry to say I'll be switching to something else.
