I am very happy with this product. It was a Christmas Present and was shipped very quickly upon ordering. It was brand new and quite a bit cheaper than purchasing it, with a discount, through the beauty supply store. It works great and is the best hair straightener my daughter has ever had. my hairdresser recommended chi flat straightening iron for my curly hair and so far i am very happy about the results since i have a very unruly curly hair this product work wonders for my kind of hair. it is a little bit pricey but, it is worth the money. Review: CHI ceramic flat iron

I bought this flat iron to replace a 2" flat iron. I thought I woud try the smaller size iron to see if it offered more flexibility in styling. It is easy to style the ends of your hair. It flattens like a charm. It has a heavy duty cord that swivels - it still tangles a bit, but not much.
My only complaint is that it does not have an automatic shut off. (So, be sure not to forget to turn it off!!) For an iron that gets so hot, I would think this would be a required feature.
If you want to straighten your hair, this iron will work splendidly. You won't be disappointed! (Just be sure that you turn it off! :) )

I have used many flat irons before and none have worked, but then I tried my cousin's CHI one day and I was amazed. You don't even get these results in the hair salons (unless you are living the life of Mary-Kate and Ashley). Yesterday I just bought a CHI Turbo 1" and it heated up speedy fast. I just plugged it in and it was already getting really hot. Plus the fact that this has many temperatures. Because of this CHI Turbo, when I went on a date last night, I was running behind and then I realized I forgot to flat iron my hair (forgetting I had my CHI). When I remembered I had one I didn't need to worry, because with CHI.. you can forget.
Also I am 13 years old and you don't get burnt easily. I have only been burnt once behind my ear and I didn't even realize I got burnt until my mom saw the the next day. I wouldn't call it the most safe thing in the world but it is safer than any flat iron I have ever used in my entire life.
