This is an awesome straightening iron!! My sisters purchased one first, I used it and loved it. Then my friend got one, and finally I have my own. My hair is wavy, but my friends hair is very curly, and we both are able to achieve silky straight hair with this iron, thanks to the temperature control. I highly recommend it! This is the best hair straightener. The price is a little scary but if you've struggled with finding the right tool for dealing with curly or wavy hair it's worth it. Even in humid weather my hair stays straight the whole day.
I've been using the chi iron along with chi Silk Infusion for 6 months and I couldn't be happier with the results.

I've been straightening my hair for fifteen years and I have to say this straightener is the best one I've ever owned. I didn't want to pay so much for a straightener, so I didn't buy one when all my friends were raving about it. Now that I have one, I understand all the hoopla. It really works amazingly well. I bought this item about 3 years ago. It is the perfect straightener. The price is a little high but it does what i says it will do, except in the description where it says it curls. It heats up very quickly and it really durable. I use it almost every day and it works perfectly. It doesn't damage my hair like most straighteners do. I don't know what people are talking about. The item doesn't break easily. They must have been throwing it around or not taking good care of it. I've had it for a long time and it still looks and works perfectly. I have owned all types of straighteners, and regardless of the price they all did the same thing....straightened my hair with incredibly high heat (which I thought I needed, because my hair is very curly and very thick!) while burning it at the same time. The Chi straightener is AMAZING, it straightens it with the type of heat my hair needs but doesn't burn it at all. It can straighten as well as style. My hair has volume, which with the other straighteners it didn't! My hair feels so soft, and it looks amazing. The best 100 dollars I have ever spent.
