I bought this travel hair dryer for everyday use. For a small hair dryer, it has a decent amount of power and is comparable to an ordinary use dryer. It dries my hair quickly and folds away small. Very impressed. Review: HAIR DRYER

I HAVE HAD SEVERAL OF THESE HAIR DRYERS....THEY ARE GREAT, AND A GREAT BRAND NAME....AS FOR A TRAVEL HAIR DRYER THEY ARE NOT REALLY COMPACT. THEY ARE A LITTLE ON THE BULKY SIDE, BUT THEY DO FOLD UP. Review: It does work

It's cheap, small, doing job (enough power). It may be good for trip, but the hotel I stay usually has a dryer, so I don't bring it. If you look for a compact dryer, then this is a perfect model as that price. Review: Just don't make 'em like they used to

No surprises - this hair dryer is exactly as described, and it probably deserves another star if it's only compared to other units that are currently available. The folding handle makes it convenient for travel, it does a reasonable job of drying my hair, and I didn't find it excessively loud. But, my old 1600 watt Conair compact styler felt much more solid, was slightly smaller even though it felt bigger and more comfortable in my hand, dried my hair faster, had a fan motor that didn't sound quite as whiney, and coexisted nicely with other electrical devices on a 15 amp circuit. And although I liked my old 1600 watt dryer better than my new Vagabond, it didn't dry my hair any faster than the 1200 watt dryer it replaced, or the 1000 watt dryer before that. Exactly what are all these hundreds of extra watts doing for me other than increasing the size of my carbon footprint? Hey Conair - come up with an Energy Star rated dryer and I'll trade this puppy in in a heartbeat! Review: Nice little dryer

Just what I needed. Didn't blow the fuse in my Greek apartment like my classmates' dryers. Could use an attachment to focus the heat.
