I order 1 - 2 of these a year.
The steam unit is the thing that usually goes 1 - 2 times a year, but it is 100% worth it for the results. Everyone always comments how nice my hair is when I use these rollers. Bit hit with the menfolk ladies!

The product works wonders to smooth out my frizzy hair during periods of high humidity. Unfortunately, the heating units only last one year at most. I have tried distilled water, adding vinegar to the water once a week and everything else I can think of. It would be great if a replacement unit could be purchased without the cost of extra rollers and clips. Review: Works Great Breaks Easy

First let me say I love the curler set. I have used this system for 15 years and will use nothing else. I have very fine hair but tons of it and it is one of the only things that will curl my hair. It's fast and easy. Takes about 5 minutes to curl my long hair. I leave it in while I finish getting ready. Take them out right before I leave the house and my hair looks great.
Here is my complaint. I had my first unit for about 6 or 7 years with no problems. The last 2 years I've gone through 4 of these things. What the heck is up with the quality. One burned out (in about 3 months), the second the prong that holds the curler broke off (after 1 month), the third I plugged in and it popped and then smelled like burning wires (after 2 months). I am on my fourth. If this one breaks down in a month I think I will write the company. It's getting annoying.
Get the cheap one, they are all the same. Some charge 8.00 some charge 30.00. I'm not sure why. I've been buying the expensive ones but this time I bought the 8.00 one. We will see if it makes a difference.
