Review: Wonderful cleanser

I have very sensitive skin, and very oily skin, with breakouts. I'm 54 and also using Retin-A every night. This cleanser is wonderful. Like other reviewers, I have tried many different products, most of them very expensive. CeraVe smoothly cleanses the skin and doesn't cause any breakouts. It also doesn't make my skin any oilier. I'm very impressed with the texture and effects of this cleanser. Please give it a try. It's nice to find something that works that doesn't cost a fortune. I also use the cream that works very well also. It hydrates without adding oil to your face and doesn't cost an arm and leg. It works well for oily and sensitive skin. Too bad this cleanser did not meet my expectations. If anything, I wish I could
reverse 2 weeks back and have the complexion I had. This product made my face flare up and give it a tomato red appearance. How attractive is that?
I definitely got a reaction from this product. My face looked as if my face was baked in an oven.
Unfortunately, I had purchased this cleanser together with the Pro-X Olay product so I thought it was the Olay that made my face look like a monster. I was wrong. I stopped using both Pro-X from Olay and this Cerave Hydrating Cleanser at the same time. I waited about 8 days and tried the CeraVe and BOOM! My face turned RED RED with little red marks all over. UUUUU! I returned the Pro-X product so I will have to try it again some other time when my face comes back to normal.

My skin will break out frequently and i have slightly oily skin that gets dry over the summer due to swimming. I have used cetaphil but this is far better. I was slightly concerened when it did not make bubbles because i thought it wasn't working, but it deffinatley does. My skin feels hydrated and clean all day. With this cleanser use the cream because together they feel amazing. Review: hard to find in stores

this product and the moisterizing lotion were recommended by my dermatologist when I developed a mysterious allergic reaction.. overall I am very happy with the quality of the cleanser, it feels and smells nice and rinses well.. however, it is very difficult to find in stores even though my dermatologist assured me I could buy it off the shelf from walgreens and cvs.. I was able to get my first bottle of it by special order through the walgreens pharmacy counter for about $13 and a 3 day wait. When I decided I would be purchasing more of the product I elected to order 2 of them online at once. With the slightly lower price and the shipping the same for 1 or 2 of them, this ended up the same price as buying it from walgreens and it arrived on my porch 2 days after ordering.. Review: surprisingly good

I was skeptical of using a new facial cleanser. I had used bar soaps all my life and am very low key with my products. CeraVe is perfect--it made my skin look healthier and, even though there were no suds, I feel just as clean as if I used soap. I highly recommend it.
