Review: Application was a mess!
Beauty product: 1 Stars

I've purchased 8 China Glaze nail lacquers over the past month from a local Sally Beauty Supply, figuring all the 'hype' I hear about them has got to be true: 'Flawless with absolute staying power'... or so the box they came in stated. But how true is this?

After properly prepping my nails and applying a base coat and waiting for it to dry thoroughly I applied China Glaze's Platinum Silver. What a disaster! It's hard to explain the consistency; it was runny and gloopy at the same time! It left bald spots in some areas and went on too thick in others! Trying to correct it just exacerbated the problem! And fast-drying?? It NEVER thoroughly dried! 24 hours later I was getting dents in the polish while I was working out! I ended up redoing my mani... with a different brand of nail polish!

I have NEVER experienced this before with any other brand of polish I've used, including Revlon, Barielle, Cover Girl, Finger Paints, Color Club, Misa, even cheapo brands like N.Y.C. and Wet 'n' Wild.

From what I've gleaned from various nail boards and blogs this appears to be a common problem with 'some', but not all, China Glaze formulations/Collections. It seems to be very inconsistent from collection to collection, and I should mention I do have other China Glaze polishes that apply very nicely; so it's best to do some research on the polishes you're interested in if you want to avoid the disappoinment I did.

Review: Supposedly doesn't peel
Beauty product: 1 Stars

This product is advertised as a no peel nail polish. I dont know if the bottle i got was defective or something, but I have never had a polish that peeled more. Also it never seemed to fully set and seemed quite soft. It did not survive the night and I had to go back to my favorite brand OPI in the morning.

Review: The "Liquid Leather"sucks.
Beauty product: 3 Stars

I like china glaze ok. it bubbles sometimes which i don't like. However I am not a fan of the liquid leather top coat. i've used it a few times and it makes the polish a different color or something. i don't like how it changes the color. I'd go with Seche Vite ... much better and dries really fast.

Review: Great Polish- EXORBINANT Shipping fees
Beauty product: 4 Stars

I bought a China Glaze nail polish. The color is Hippie Chic, and I love it.
I bought it through the internet because my nail salon ran out.
I won't do that again cause the shipping cost as much as one little
bottle of polish. What a rip-off!! 6.00 - polish $ 6.00 shipping :( :(

Review: So, so...
Beauty product: 3 Stars

I usually buy somewhat a pricy brand of nail polish. Bought this "unknown brand" due to the color. While I still love the color (lovely shade of pink with just a touch of orange), it seems to be wearing off quite quickly, even with two coats and a clear top coat. I will not go out of my way to buy this brand again.
