Ok I wanted to review this even though I got it from a grocery. I have noticed purpleish silvery tones in to my hair which was before a yellowy blonde bleached. It does however damage my hair as in it drys it. My hair is now kinda fluffy and ratty. Which is why I gave 3 stars rather than 4 or 5. I won't buy it again because of what it does to my hair condition.

After years of dyeing my hair I decided to go natural. Lots of gray and in between colors. This shampoo has helped brighten all my colors and ease the transition from dyed to gray. It will not remove old hair dye but mine is slowly fading away. Lots of sparkle in my gray and the product does a great job with that. DEFINITELY toned down the brassiness. Review: good product

I used this when I dyed my hair a light ash blonde. It works well to brighten blonde hair and tone down the yellow/brassy tones. Keep in mind though that it won't take place of a toner. It's not that strong. It is simply brightening. If your hair is extremely yellow or brassy, it will only make minimal difference. Also, I wouldn't use it every day. It can be quite drying and I notice my ends became brittle if I used it too much. It shouldn't turn your hair purple if you wash it out thoroughly. Overall a good product especially for the price. Smells good, leave your hair smelling like you just got it dyed.
Not as conditioning as it states, but it does clean my hair.
I have dyed my hair several times and have bleached blonde highlights so it leaves my hair a little dry therefore I have to use a conditioner.
This used to be my favorite shampoo until I found Shimmer Lights Conditioner which I LOVE!
Anyway, awesome shampoo to remove green and yellow stains from hair. Making your hair look fresh.
