Review: Clarins Does not deliver

In Self magazine they reviewed several self-tanners, and said that Clarins was the best. However, being olive skinned it was yellowish in color, and after paying 30+ on this item, I am very disappointed. I guess higher prices doesn't mean it's going to "pay off"! This product DEFINITELY works. Just take a cotton pad (a flat one not a cotton ball), soak it up, and apply using long strokes. There is a smell, but it's not bad. You can sleep with it on if you apply it at night, which is what I recommend. If you apply it in the morning, you might look conspicuously orange/tan. If you put it on overnite, some color fades and it looks more natural. It never rubbed off on my pillow, so staining wasn't an issue. For me, the product only lasted between 24-36 hours and then it pretty much disappeared. The important thing is that it does work and doesn't smell bad.
