We paid for this but NEVER recevied it. We were charged but the Pinaud Clubman Lilac Vegetal After Shave never came!!! Who do I speak to about getting a credit or getting the product finally delievered?
Six months later product finally was received.

I can't recall if it was my grandfather or my father who first told me about this. I was a young man, though, I know. Fourteen, maybe.
I definitely remember that the barber of my youth (name was Floyd -- no, really, I'm not confusing reality with Andy of Mayberry) used it after every butchering. You came out of the barbershop with a perplexing blend of emotions -- a little pride, some satisfaction, a whiff of dismay. But you smelled like the barbershop, like men, like you belonged and were counted as One Of The Guys.
This stuff was sorta magical. It has a sissy name, don't get me wrong. To tell the truth, I wish it was purchasable (see below) on Amazon -- asking for it at the drugstore causes tittering teenager girls to have conniptions. Heck, you can't even buy pipe tobacco at the drugstore anymore. What good are they, I ask you.
Despite the sissy name, though, you could take a shower in it and not smell like you had tendencies. Wakes you up when you put it on.
I've used it all my life. My first wife loved it, but who cares? My current wife (that life-saving, wonderfulness of a woman) loves it. Don't know what the difference is between this and the other lilac vegetal. Maybe I'll try that sometime.
Really, you'll like this. I've recommended it (and Clubman, for evening use) to many youngsters in my time, and have had 100% appreciation and thanks. HOWEVER, NOW THAT YOU MAY BE CURIOUS, LOOK ELSEWHERE TO BUY, BECAUSE THE SHIPPING CHARGE IS OUTRAGEOUS!!!

I am a wet shaver,double edged razor blades,shaving mug and brush. I have found that many of the ideas and practices of our Fathers & Grandfathers are valid and superior to many of the ideas of today. Since I disovered this goes back a long time,I decided to try it...Forget it. This smells exactly like some small stores,here in Florida with either a mildew problem or some other air quality problem and they send this smell through the air conditioning system they use. It is not a pleasant smell and as another reviewer pointed out,there is a faint smell of urine( please dont ask what kind,Im not a urologist.)If you decide to buy this, I strongly recommend you do not wear this with anyone you care about.If you are interested in old time after shaves, I would recommend witch hazel or Gabels Bay Rum( which does not retain its aroma for a long period of time which makes it ideal for work).If you want a longer lasting aroma,try Royall Bay Rum.I received this Lilac today in the mail & it is going in the garbage today. Im out $8.00 plus shipping but live & learn.Should have rated this no stars
