I've wanted "hot rollers" for several years. Finally took the plunge and made the purchase. I'm very happy with the choice, it's inexpensive, heats up pretty fast, rolls up nice (especially for we who are less experienced in rollers) it comes with instructions on HOW TO, that was a bonus for me. These rollers really do heat up quickly as claimed, under 2 minutes. I have the older Conair rollers, which did take longer. I bought these for the Super Jumbo rollers. Finally, there are larger hot rollers. I gave these a 4 star rating simply because I would rather have all Super Jumbo rollers, and am buying a product where I am wasting money on rollers I am not using. The four Super Jumbo rollers make spending time on my hair so much faster, it is worth it to me. Also, once you purchase this full set, you will find with the directions, an address and cost for buying more Super Jumbo rollers--which I have done. For 4, I believe it was only $7.50, including shipping. Since my older Conair rollers are several years old and still working, I expect these will last for a long time as well. Believe them when they say extreme heat. Ends are too hot to touch and they burn my scalp unless I pad with cotton squares. It works better for me if I leave the lid up after they heat up. The U shaped clips that comes with the set are a joke. They don't hold the rollers at all. I'm looking to purchase the cage types clips to try with it. Other than that they work as well as any others and they are larger than most. I'm still hoping for 2 - 2 1/2" rollers to hit the market.
