Review: Easy to use; but perhaps not best suited for thin, fine hair

I know absolutely nothing about how to do hair, but these are very easy to use. They heat up in literally seconds and the slits in the rollers are easy to feed your hair into. However, my hair is very fine and they have a little trouble staying in place. They set hair very fast too, I only have to leave them in for a couple of minutes for them to set my hair. All in all, I would recommend this product; except with caution if your hair is fine; you may have to put a little more hair in that you'd like for them to stay in. Review: Extremely poor design

I have been a fan of hot rollers for decades and these are the worst I have ever owned. The opening down the length of the roller makes it difficult to insert the pins and there is no place to hold the pins. All my sets in the past have had a place to hold the pins. I travel frequently and must find a separate container to hold the pins.
I will replace these as soon as possible.

I scoured the site for recommendations and these were pretty high plus a friend had an older version of the product. They get super hot super fast and work really well. I highly recommend you buy the white plastic roller clips though because the ones that come with don't work so well - especially with the uber thick hair that I have. Great product at a great price! I have long hair, & I only use the jumbo rollers. This CHV14 heats up quickly and does the job. I do not like the clips that come with the machine. They dent my hair and are not strong enough. So I had to buy the Conair SPC10R Super Clips which do the job without denting my hair. Buy both at the same time so shipping will be less.I wash and blow dry my hair, then use the rollers. I've cut my hair-time in half, and now with less wear and tear on my hair. Review: Finally!

I love love LOVE these curlers. I've been growing my hair out, and it's finally long. Now...what to do with long hair?! Well, I hate my curling iron. It's annoying and too cumbersome and unpredictable. These are fabulous. Quick, easy, and I get the exact curls I want...the kind that are all over the magazines. FABULOUS product.
